Method of preparation:-
Take fish, wash it and pat dry it. Cut the fish for stew. Season the fish with salt and black pepper. Take a frying pan, heat vegetable oil in it and then fry the fish in it. Take out the fish from the frying pan and then place it in the large or small saucepan. Now sauté the onion and green bell pepper in the frying pan. Remove the mixture from the frying pan and add to the fish in the saucepan. Add tomato paste or tomato sauce in the pn and mix them well. Sprinkle the thyme, salt and black pepper according to taste. Cover the pan and keep it to simmer for about 15 minutes. Serve it with rice or potatoes.
