Blackened Catfish Recipe

Ingredients
Catfish fillets (1pound), cayenne pepper (2tsp), butter (2tbsp), garlic powder (2tsp), lemon powder (2tsp), cayenne pepper (2tsp), Italian style salad dressing (1c), pepper (2tsp) and salt (2tsp).

Method Of Preparation:-
Blackened CatfishFirst heat the oven to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F. Take a baking dish of medium size, grease it lightly. Take a shallow bowl of medium size; add garlic powder, pepper, lemon powder, cayenne pepper and salt in it. Mix all these ingredients properly. Take fish fillets and brush both sides of them with butter and then coat the fillets the garlic powder mixture. Take a large heavy frying pan, heat it over medium high heat. Then add fish fillets in it and fry them for about 2 minutes from each side until they get slightly blackened. Now place the fried fish fillets in greased baking dish in one layer and coat them with salad dressing. Place the dish in preheated oven and bake the fillets at 350 degrees F for about 30 to 35 minutes until the fish gets flaked easily with fork.
